The Transformers universe is deep and complex than some people think. More than 25 years old, the Transformers have lived though many generations. From the original Transformers, otherwise known as Generation 1, to Beast Wars, Cybertron to Transformers the movie, the Transformers have been with us in TV, comic books, action figures and on the big screen.

As the release of Transformers the Revenge of the Fallen, continues to clock big dollars in the box office some may be wondering what happened between the first and second movie. Well IDW publishing has recently released two graphic novels that have bridged the gap, Alliance and Defiance. Find out how the Humans and Autobots began to work as a team and explore the history of the all-spark. Whether you’re a fan or not it’s worth a read, and there’s nothing better than a book with more pictures than words.

5am a group of us setoff to catch a sunrise off Mount Gilbraltar located about 90mins drive south-west of Sydney.  Mount Gilbraltar sits approx 860 metres above sea level and overlooks the town of Mittagong, ideal location for a sunrise. Being winter the temperature was sitting around 5 degrees when we got there, fighting off the elements and loss of feeling in my hands i managed to get these shots.
