‘We’re going to Miami’ … that’s what they sang ‘Big Willy style’…

Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, Miami Heat’s Big 3.
The highly anticipated 2010 NBA off-season, saw three big name superstars become free agents. And it is during this time that these millionaire athletes exercise their ‘right’ (sorry Cleveland) to freely shop the league for the best opportunity/deal to continue playin the game they love. Usually they go where the money is… but these three (above), three of biggest stars in the NBA from their own respective teams, decided to all take a pay cut, and play together in Miami. Forming, arguably one of the most exciting trios in NBA’s history.
Nicknamed ‘Miami Thrice’, these three are focused to win a Championship, straight away. Based on their performance playing together in the USA ‘Redeem Team’ winning the gold in Beijing, I say the Miami’s Heat is goin up against Los Angeles at being the hottest ticket in town.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, caught up in the hype… Lets bring back some of NBA’s past Big 3’s that paved the way for these young bloods.

Celtic Pride | 2008 NBA Champion Boston Celtics | Ray Allen | Kevin Garnett | Paul Pierce | Coming together before the 2008 season this is the same model the Miami Heat are banking on to win it all.

The Big Three | 2003, 2005, 2007 NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs | Tony Parker | Manu Ginóbili | Tim Duncan | Apart from the Lakers, these three help build the Spurs dynasty into the new millennium.

The 2nd 3-Peat | 1996, 1997, 1998 NBA Champion Chicago Bulls | Dennis Rodman | Scottie Pippen | Michael Jordan | These ‘Unbeat-a-Bulls’ still hold NBA’s best regular season record of 72-10.

Run T.M.C. | Golden State Warriors | Tim Haradaway | Mitch Richmond | Chris Mullin | These guys won a championship for the ‘coolest name.’

Showtime! | 1985, 1987, 1988 NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers | Kareem Abdul-Jabbar | James Worthy | Magic Johnson

Beat LA! | 1981, 1984, 1986 NBA Champion Boston Celtics | Robert Parish | Larry Bird | Kevin McHale | The Celtics vs. Lakers rivalry was epic in the 80’s!

Here’s an interesting fact… Today is the day that Marty McFly arrived in the future after hitting 88mph in a pimped out Delorean running on plutonium in 1985.
