ACCLAIM is proud to release their FRIENDS issue this August. The issue uncovers the friendships at the core of everything from art collectives to skate crews, business partners to frat houses, a man’s relationship with his automobile and a store owner’s relationship with their dog. ACCLAIM gets to the bottom of what makes the partnerships tick and what the spirit of collaboration and working with others brings to contemporary creative culture.
To mark the Issue ACCLAIM are also teaming up with Mishka to have their first ever launch party in the USA. The special event is to take place at the Mishka store in Brooklyn on August 27th. Big props for the Acclaim crew for conquering the world one issue at a time!

20/07/10 - Red Dead Redemption Guinness World Record
A Guinness World Record for non-stop gaming was broken yesterday by six Dutch gamers clocking an epic 50 hours straight on Rockstar’s new western game ‘Red Dead Redemption‘. Having first hand experience i don’t seem surprised… this game is beautifully mind boggling. Rockstar did a stand-up job creating one of the most amazing open world environments taking you from baron desert waste-lands to grand canyons to snowy mountains caped under amazing sunsets, starry nights and sunrises.
Detail is something RDR doesn’t lack with every animal you can think of hunting up for game… bringing out the redneck in everyone. The sound track is also money setting up the mood for every mission or when ever you just wanna trip out. With so many mini missions and discovering to do in the RDR world, this game has definitely got enough ammo to keep any gunslinging gamer occupied for 50 hours! But seriously 50 hours non-stop! I threw up my breakfast after doing a 12 hour session of Counterstrike!
